The End of the KING?

Okay, lets get one thing straight. Lebron James is still the best player in the National Basketball League. The fact that people would think that James Harden has passed Lebron's level is beyond laughable. There is not a person in the history of basketball who could match the skill set of Lebron. The man is 6'8 and 250 lbs of pure muscle. The man has the body of a post player, but has the speed and quickness of a guard. He may not be the best shooter in the game, but he can score in a variety of ways from attacking the basket to shooting the three whether it be contested or open. Lebron's numbers this year are down a little bit, but that is to be expected when going into a new system with a bunch of new teammates. There is still not a player who can distribute, rebound, score, and play defense the way that Lebron can. And there may very well never be.

  1. He is definitely not the best shooter, we all should agree that that is Steph Curry. You are very right though, he is definitely the best player I have ever seen play; we're both a tad bit young to remember much of Jordan. On a side note, Lebron now holds the franchise record for assists.

  2. I've never really understood people's passion about sports, but reading this gives me a glimpse into that. I feel this way about music; when new musicians come into play and try to take the place of much better, much older musicians that I love, I get up in arms. Your last sentence is powerful, actually, and it makes me agree immediately!

  3. I haven't been following the NBA much the past couple of seasons, but did James Harden just explode out of nowhere? I remember when he was coming off of the bench for the Thunder and lighting it up. But man, I had no idea he was this good.

  4. Not a personal fan of his. My male cousins and my uncles always have this debate at family functions, and it seems that the younger ones are always Team Lebron. Guess the older generation is over him.
